The results are in! Miss Nevada and Miss Teen Nevada 2019 finals last night saw Tianna Tuamoheloa take the top spot – Miss Nevada USA 2019 and Erica Yvette crowned the Miss Teen Nevada USA 2019 in a lavish production by Shanna Moakler.
Hosted by Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez together with action star and sportscaster Ricardo Laguna, the 2019 pageant brought together women & teens from across the great state of Nevada. The show featured a live performance from Redwood Black, California country group with a rock/pop edge.
The contestants gathered at the Southpoint Casino on Sunday night for a two-hour special that featured everything from a swimsuit competition and evening gown showing to the infamous final questions.

The Miss Nevada USA and Miss Nevada Teen USA pageants serve as official preliminary competitions to the country’s renowned pageant system, the Miss Universe Organization, owned by the WME-IMG Talent Agency. With an annual pageant held in November, two new titleholders are chosen to represent the great state of Nevada. Executive state director, Shanna Moakler, brings her experience as a TV star and former Miss USA to Nevada. Since Moakler joined the Miss Nevada USA organization in 2012, the pageant has received a complete makeover, giving Nevada notoriety with two Top 5 placements and a Top 10 placement at Miss USA. About Nia Sanchez
Nia Sanchez made history when she won the title of Miss USA 2014, becoming the first Miss Nevada to capture the coveted crown. Seven months later, she represented the USA at the 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant, where she finished as first runner-up. An avid traveler and fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo, Nia has lived all over the world, from her former Nevada residence just minutes off the famed Las Vegas Strip to countries as diverse as Germany and Hong Kong. As Miss USA, Nia was honored to work with a host of organizations including Project Sunshine, Best Buddies, and the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. About Ricardo Laguna
Born and raised in La Paz, Mexico, Ricardo Laguna moved to Las Vegas at the age of 13. Growing up in a rough neighborhood, Ricardo’s passion for BMX riding was fostered during his high school years. He signed on as a professional athlete at the age of 18 and won the “King of Dirt” competition, making him the #1 Latin and South American Dirt Jumper in the world. Ricardo is a frequent competitor in major tournaments, including: The Dew Action Sports Tour, Gravity Games, Nokia Fise, and BMX Masters among others. Laguna has performed in shows worldwide and has hosted his own Action Sports and Music Festival in Las Vegas for the past 12 years called “The Ricardo Laguna BMX Dirt Challenge” at Extreme Thing.
